Beating Heart is a South Korean television drama series, produced by the MBC network and broadcast in 2005. The series consists of six two-part stories, with each story having its own team of writer and director. It focuses on the lives of a typical Korean family, examining the relationships between the four main characters, their romantic interests, and other family members, while answering the question "When did you feel your heart beating the hardest?" In 2006, the series was broadcast by the KBFD network in Hawaii as My Trembling Heart. It has also been released on DVD in South Korea and Japan.

Sim Deok-Su (Yang Taek-Jo) is the owner of a large apartment complex. Although he sometimes berates his tenants, he also cares about their well being. One day, Sim Deok-Su enters the apartment of a tenant who is late on his rent. Sim Deok-Su finds the tenant dead and hanging from a noose tied around his neck. The other tenants believe the tenant killed himself after being hounded by Sim Deok-Su. Sim Deok-Su then meets former detective Park Pyeong-Dal (Kim Jin-Tae). Park Pyeong-Dal tells Sim Deok-Su that the death of his tenant was not by suicide, but in fact a murder by a serial killer. The serial killer operated in the neighborhood thirty years ago.

CityKids is a television series that aired late Saturday Mornings on ABC from 1993 to 1994. The show consists primarily of live action performances, interspersed with Muppet segments, courtesy of Jim Henson Productions. These Muppets are composed of original characters designed specifically for the show, not ones taken from Sesame Street or The Muppet Show. These original characters often serve as the Greek chorus for the show, commenting on the situations of the human characters, but not actually interacting with them. Unlike most shows airing on ABC Saturday Mornings and produced by the Jim Henson Company at the time, CityKids was primarily targeted to a teenage audience, not to mention an urban one. Unfortunately, the show failed to generate desirable ratings from any demographic, especially the teenage one, and the show was cancelled by ABC after one season. The show's main theme song was composed by Malik Yoba & Raliegh J Neal II, both also composed other songs for the series and served as Musical Creative Supervisor for the show.

Escape from Jupiter is a space adventure television series about a small group of children from a mining colony on Jupiter's moon, Io, who are forced to flee when a volcanic eruption destroys their world. With a few adult survivors, they seek shelter on the derelict space station KL5, floating above Io, convert it into a jerry-rigged spacecraft, and head off in a desperate attempt to reach Earth. They share many adventures and form close friendships on the dangerous journey. Escape from Jupiter concerned a small colony of humans on the moon of Io.
